Our Executive Team

David Meek - CEO

With more than 30 years of board and leadership experience across sectors and geographies, David's background includes financial markets, real estate, technology and charities. He has a proven track record of sustainable, transformational change built on robust governance and risk foundations.

David has worked for multiple global institutions, sovereign wealth funds and government-owned entities, as well as large national charities not-for profit membership organisations. His current roles include being a trustee of the Science Museum Foundation.

David is well-versed in the challenges and opportunities facing the real estate development industry and working with local and central Governments, including stakeholder engagement, delivering affordable housing stock and community infrastructure, sustainability and global economic fluctuations.

Khalid Shaban - Head of Land & Development

Khalid is a visionary leader in the real estate and property development industry, with a global track record of success. His expertise spans the entire development cycle, from identifying prime locations to overseeing construction and ensuring a project's successful completion whilst achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

He thrives in dynamic environments, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and leading high-performing teams to deliver iconic residential led mixed-use developments. Khalid has spearheaded projects across the UK, Middle East and Africa, amassing a diverse portfolio of approximately 1 million ft² of real estate.

His ability to adapt to different cultures and working styles has been instrumental in navigating complex international projects. Khalid's leadership extends beyond the development site. He is a passionate mentor, guiding and empowering his teams to achieve their full potential and a champion of sustainability. Spearheading the creation of a company-wide sustainability policy. His commitment to responsible development ensures his projects create lasting value for communities. . 

Laura Lawrence - CFO

Laura is a seasoned financial professional with over 18 years of experience. Throughout her career, Laura has gained a comprehensive understanding of finance, having held various roles such as Finance Director and Financial Controller. Her career trajectory began in 2000 as a Trainee Accountant at Canada Life.
