Your New Role
With a long-term track record of delivering projects across East Anglia. You’ll be surrounded by a great multi-disciplinary team including Chartered Surveyors, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, and Civil & Structural Engineers. Their portfolio includes; commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use developments and they offer a wide range of consultancy services across multiple industries. With a high level of repeat business which is testament to their technical expertise and the confidence clients place in their working relationship.
Joining as their Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead on a number of interesting projects, with education, commercial and public buildings being a key sector. You will help deliver in all aspects of the project, from inception through to project end.
You will lead the PM team dealing with a number of key projects concurrently which will vary in complexity and value typically from £5m - £50m.
You will manage all phases of local projects whilst helping to:
- Implement and maintain project reports focusing on quality and cost.
- Advise and implement the service supply including tender selection and ongoing management to ensure specifications are adopted and delivered.
- Convene and chair meetings with the client, providing guidance and directing further instructions on their behalf.
- Manage on-going project reviews, change control and completion activities.
We are interested in speaking with Qualified Project Managers with significant construction industry experience either on behalf of a consultancy or client side organisation. To be successful, you will need strong cross sector experience, ideally on both the private and public sector projects. You should be degree level qualified with a professional membership status with either RICS, CIOB, or APM along with a clear ability to manage project teams. Prince II certification and strong working knowledge of MS Project would be a distinct advantage. Ideally you will be locally based to the Suffolk area or have previous connections to this region. With a flexible approach to work and the ability to work as part of a team and directly with clients to ensure projects are a success.
