With a long-term track record of delivering consultancy services across East Anglia. You’ll be surrounded by a great multi-disciplinary team including Chartered Surveyors, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, and Civil & Structural Engineers. Their portfolio includes commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use developments and they offer a wide range of consultancy services across multiple industries. With a high level of repeat business which is testament to their technical expertise and the confidence clients place in their working relationship.
Joining as their Senior Building Surveyor, you will be involved in several interesting projects, with education, commercial and public buildings being a key sector. Acting as both a Project Manager and Contract Administrator, you deliver projects using both framework contractors and a broad range of specialist suppliers.
You will manage and provide expert advice in a wide range of services including:
- Building maintenance (Planned, Programmed & Responsive)
- Project management of minor works, typically using JCT contracts
- Condition Surveys, identifying and analysing defects and providing proposals for repair
- Production of all tender documentation.
- Full range of Surveying duties including dilapidations and party wall surveys.
We are interested in speaking with qualified Building Surveyors with strong industry experience on behalf of either a consultancy or client-side organisation. To be successful, you will need strong cross sector experience, ideally on both the private and public sector projects. You should be degree level qualified with a professional membership status to the RICS. Ideally you will be locally based to the Suffolk area or have previous connections to this region. With a flexible approach to work and the ability to work as part of a team and directly with clients to ensure projects are a success.
