Project Coordinator

Work with an independent property investment business as a Design / Project Coordinator, assisting the planning and design team with projects from site appraisal, feasibility through to build or sale.

Your New Role

You will be working with a land and development team on a range of residential and commercial property projects including land promotion, investment, technical and planning advice for developments. The team has gone from strength to strength, growing significantly in the last few years, now managing a multi-million-pound portfolio across East Anglia for a wide range of clients.

This is a maternity cover position starting at the end of August.

You will be working with a professional multidisciplinary client team of surveyors, engineers, and planners, assisting with planning and technical matters.

Qualified to HNC level or similar in a construction, surveying, geo-environmental or engineering discipline. With at least 2 years post qualification technical experience gained with a consultant, housing developer, contractor design team or surveying practice.

You will be assisting with technical appraisals on sites for potential acquisition, reviewing any constraints and opportunities to development. This will include web-based research, geological and flood mapping, digital title boundaries, historical information.

You will assist with obtaining topographical surveys, underground service reports, asbestos, condition, site investigation, contamination assessments, structural, surveys, party walls, ecological and other enquiries including budget quotes and costs. You will also prepare concept and site plans and display information using AutoCAD, experience with Illustrator, QGIS and Excel is required.

This is a temporary role offering an entry into the world of development. A chance to be involved with the whole process from assessment, acquisition, and sale.
