MEP Manager

An all-round MEP Manager with the ambition to support the design and development of a high-profile projects across the UK.

Your New Role

You will be joining a leading developer and asset management business specialising within Science and Pharmaceutical industries.

Their rapid expansion into the UK market has seen the acquisition of a number of key assets - developing and transforming some of the best spaces for high-growth science & technology businesses. With a unique approach they own, develop, and manage their assets to provide a 24/7, first class facilities and services to their tenants. These include leading specialists within healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences.

With an increasing portfolio of high spec developments, the UK team is expanding.

You will support the development of the M&E technical specifications (both building wide & tenant requirements), before successfully managing the design and delivery of these projects. You will also manage the on-site testing on state-of-the-art buildings consisting of specialised offices, laboratory, and research buildings. Including cleanrooms, research facilities, pilot plants and more.
You will be the main technical contact for all MEP enquiries with the end user during both pre-occupancy and their tenancy. This includes regular integration with tenants to provide expert guidance and regular project updates.

We are interested in speaking to candidates with a passion for being the best. A Technical Manager with a proven MEP background and experience in the design and specifications of laboratories or science related buildings. You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and detailed knowledge of BREEAM assessments and current Building Regs. Additionally, you will be educated in a relevant engineering or MEP related degree, with a professional qualification.

We know it’s a lot to ask but this opportunity is something special. You will report into the head office in London but attend regular inspections to sites across the UK. Therefore the role contains some flexibility to travel to sites and work from home.
