We’re expanding! Join our new team during an exciting period of growth and be the difference in setting new standards and exceeding expectations.

Your New Role

A career within Property Services is never dull. Working within a sector worth over £300bn requires talented people with energy and ideas. Over the last decade, the affordable housing sector has experienced significant change, rapidly adapting to what is becoming an increasingly commercial environment.

At Orwell we’re leading the way and are part of a wider consortium of housing providers, jointly working together across East Anglia. We are building strong and sustainable communities by providing high quality affordable homes with well-designed local community facilities. These houses are our assets. We have high standards and all our properties need to be maintained to ensure our tenants are safe and happy in their homes. And this is where we need you……….

Our new Compliance Administrator will be an integral part of our compliance and planned works team ensuring systems are in place and monitored in order for us to meet our statutory landlord obligations.

This will involve regular communication with both internal and external customers with an emphasis on tenant liaison and communication on all aspects of servicing works required in a property. You will liaise with a wide range of contractors to plan the annual servicing plans. This includes; Gas Servicing, Asbestos Surveys, Legionella, Fire Risks, Lifts, Electrical and other associated Mechanical and Electrical Services within our housing stock.

To be successful you will need strong record keeping skills in order to provide an efficient and effective delivery of services. You should have excellent communication and people skills, as there will be regular involvement with a wide range of tenants, contractors and trades people over the phone and in person. Therefore, a good understanding of the building industry and knowledge of schedule of rates and framework agreements would be a distinct advantage.
