Your New Role

Let us introduce you to a leading international consultancy with a worldwide reputation. A firm of building and infrastructure experts with a global network and proven experience across multiple industries including; Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, and Residential.

Business is good, and the team is expanding. With an increasing number of new large scale construction and development projects located throughout the North Home Counties (predominantly along the M25 and M11 corridors). Quality and safety are at the height of everything they do and they need an experienced Clerk Of Works for their growing team.

As a regional CoW, you will travel to the required sites to conduct inspections on a wide range of construction projects although the majority will be in new build residential housing.

You will carry out detailed site inspection surveys, monitor construction and provide comprehensive reports and snagging inspections within agreed timescales.

This will be within a multi-sector client base where you will work alongside & support a number of internal and external construction and design teams. You will also regularly engage with clients so will need to be fully comfortable in a client-focused environment.

You will be joining a commercially driven team of professionals focussed on quality but with an eye on fee-based activities. You should, therefore, be able to demonstrate strong client development skills to develop business with existing clients and help win new instructions.

As an experienced Surveyor, you will hold a professional membership ideally with either the ICWCI, CIOB or RICS and have experience in core on-site inspection work. You should be comfortable working independently and being out of the office for 80% of your working week. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Salary packages will be commensurate with your level of experience but are expected to start at £35,000 - £40,000 plus travel allowance, use of a hire vehicle for site visits with flexible working and a leading lifestyle, health and benefits package.
