Buildings and Facilities Manager

Your New Role

You will be joining a leading developer and asset management business specialising within Science and Pharmaceutical industries.

Their rapid expansion into the UK market has seen the acquisition of a number of key assets - developing and transforming some of the best spaces for aspiring businesses. With a unique approach they own, develop, and manage their assets to provide a 24/7, first class service to their tenants. These include leading specialists within healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences.

It is a busy time, and their UK team is expanding!

Having recently invested over £12m in refurbishments, you will get the rare opportunity to work with a “blank canvass”. You will help implement and manage a state-of-the-art complex consisting of specialised offices, laboratory, and research buildings. Including cleanrooms, research facilities, pilot plants and more.

You will be the main contact for tenants, helping them to utilise the building and facilities whilst being responsible for full Asset Management. This includes dealing with helpdesk enquiries, managing BMS systems, commissioning contractors whilst maintaining the day-to-day smooth running of the buildings and surrounding grounds. In addition, you will manage the maintenance requirements, specialist contractors, health & safety whilst controlling service charge budgets and capital expenditure.

Therefore, you will need a proven background managing multi tenanted buildings and service charge budgets. You will have a current IOSH qualification and ideally educated in a relevant property related degree. NEBOSH would be a distinct advantage.
