Building Surveyor / Project Manager
This is a unique opportunity for a Building Surveyor / Project to operate in a split office/site-based role. Having secured a significant contract with a major client in Suffolk, the role will involve working on site 2-3 days per week and the rest in the Essex based head office.
Your New Role
You will be operating as the client-side Project Manager overseeing specialist contractors to ensure the timely delivery of new build and refurbishment schemes of up to £3mllion.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Regular client meetings
- Scoping projects and conducting surveys
- Monitoring progress to ensure adherence to cost and programme
- Contract Administration
The role will suit an Assistant / Intermediate level Building Surveyor / Project Manager seeking relevant experience towards the RICS APC. Previous experience in a similar role along with excellent communication skills is a necessity.
A full Driving Licence is essential. Due to the nature of the projects, the successful candidate will also need to go through enhanced security checks once appointed.
