Are you a Building Surveyor looking for a flexible role in a non-corporate environment, then this is the opportunity for you? We are representing an independent consultant with an excellent reputation for providing a first-class service across design, building surveying, project, and contract management. Providing expert property advice across the education sector with a strong track record working with nurseries, pre-school, primary and secondary schools, academies, and trusts.

With a growing portfolio and a strong increase in instructions they now need an experienced Building Surveyor or Project Manager to complement their Essex team. Ideally you will be Chartered or near qualified, but finding the right person is more important than qualifications. If you have relevant schools experience and the personality to fit with the team, then MRICS is not essential.

With challenging projects and a variety of work, you will be encouraged to work independently, undertaking measured surveys, feasibility studies, NBS specification writing, tender reports, asset management plans, contract admin and CDM duties.

The role offers flexibility to manage your own time, a secure workload, a friendly, positive environment to work, plus a competitive salary, circa £50,000 plus benefits.
