Your New Role
If you're an ambitious Building Surveyor looking for a career working in one of the regions top firms, this is the opportunity for you. A privately owned multi-disciplinary practice with a solid reputation for providing a first-class service across design, building surveying, and project management. Having nearly doubled in size over the last decade, they have developed an enviable clientbase, taking the lead on several high profile projects. Their ambition creates further success throughout the group driving several fast track promotions to Director level. Team workload varies in size and complexity but typically involves instructions & frameworks from private commercial, public authorities, healthcare, education and academy trusts.
Providing a combined building surveying and a project management function, you will carry out an array of surveying services and small to medium sized refurbishment and maintenance projects up to £6m in value. You will also undertake a variety of professional building surveying works including condition surveys, feasibility studies, design and contract admin on JCT contracts, typically on CIF Funded Schemes.
Ideally you will be a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 4 years’ experience, confident delivering professional building surveying duties from dilapidations and stock condition reports through to party walls. You should also have experience with the CIF bidding process and prior project management experience, including planned works such as door and window replacement programmes through to larger scale refurbishments and extensions. Knowledge of AutoCAD would also be advantageous.
With challenging projects and a variety of surveys, no two days will be the same. You will be encouraged to progress your career to Associate/Director Level whilst benefiting from a role which offers flexibility and a friendly, positive environment. Remuneration packages will be competitive and reflect your experience but expected to be between £40,000 - £45,000 plus car allowance, healthcare, pension and other benefits.
