Your New Role

If you are a Rural Surveyor or Land Agent with experience in land management, valuation, professional and estate advice, then we have a great opportunity for you!

We are working on behalf of a thriving multidisciplinary property company, who are strengthening their rural development team with a new Rural Associate Surveyor. With a long-standing portfolio expanding across the Eastern Region they provide a comprehensive range of Real Estate services specialising in Property, Land and Planning.

The team has a varied level of experience from graduate through to senior; all contributing to the warm and friendly environment that is evident from the moment you step into the office. With an exemplary reputation, you could be reaping the rewards if you have the drive to push for your career.

They have never been busier! and you will become a key part of their Rural team. You will be joining an experienced team responsible for delivering a mix of valuation, landlord and tenant, compensation, and other professional work. You will also:

- identify opportunities from valuation inspections to cross sell other disciplines from across the firm including Planning and Development, commercial and energy work
- Value rural property for loan security purposes including farms, estates and residential property. Included within the work we undertake are some specialist valuations of nurseries and high value cropping land
- Work with the Partners to expand this aspect of the business.
- Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying and developing viable fee earning opportunities including general professional work

This opportunity would suit a Rural Surveyor or a Land Agent with a private practice or development background. Equally important is your confident personality and your ambition to help drive your career and the business forward.

To excel in this role, it would be advantageous to be MRICS and have at least five years’ post qualification experience. CAAV qualification would be desirable.

The company offer flexible working and a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000, car allowance, generous holiday and benefits package.
