Assistant Commercial Manager
Rare commercial opportunity to join a prestigious client who specialise in providing Estates and Maintenance services across a large educational campus. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary estates management and facilities team providing commercial leadership and support.
Your New Role
You will work closely with the Commercial Manager, assisting and deputising where required to provide effective commercial leadership to the Estates Facilities team. You will ensure that standardised contracting and contract management processes and procedures are implemented and followed.
This is a key role providing commercial and contractual advice to Service Managers and assisting in tendering and management of Term Service Contracts and Frameworks awarded.
Ideally you will be educated to degree or HNC level with previous commercial experience. You will be working towards or already CIPS qualified, holding an NEC3 Service Manager / Project Manager accreditation. Priority will be given to candidates who have worked within a large complex estate, with experience of electronic tendering systems and providing commercial and procedural advice to technical teams. You will have a thorough understanding of how NEC3 and JCT contracts operate.
