Your New Role

My client is a small planning and architectural practice that works predominantly in the residential sector. They have been established for over 20 years and have built up a solid client base, which ranges from developers to individual builders and housing associations.

Job Description
You will be part of a small integrated team that works as a single unit, with inputs from all of the team to get projects completed. 

Typically a project will involve taking a site from inception, through the initial scoping and pre-app stages, submission and negotiation of planning consents and then the detailed design of the development to enable construction on site. Workloads vary for each employee so adaptability is a key requirement.

Essential skills
AutoCAD proficient (SketchUp and Photoshop is beneficial)
Experience in the residential sector 
Good working knowledge of low rise, masonry and timber framed construction methods, the requirements of Building Regulations/NHBC and other approving bodies
Good communication skills
