Join this multidisciplinary team delivering Health & Safety and CDM services to a portfolio of clients across commercial, healthcare, education, defence, and residential projects across Nottingham and the midlands.
Due to continued success and growth in the client portfolio, they have a new opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor with previous CDM experience to join their consultancy team.
You’ll need knowledge of construction legislation and CDM and H&S qualifications, NEBOSH construction and TechIOSH. Membership with IMAPS is preferred and previous CDM experience is essential.
Your role will involve:
- Reviewing construction phase plans, project admin and creating health & safety files
- Reviewing project drawings and information to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Proactively advising and assisting clients, principal contractors, and design teams on project viability in terms of CDM 2015 Regulations.
- Auditing projects monthly to ensure CDM duties are being discharged
Flexible working, typically 3 days on-site and 2 days in the office or working from home.
With projects across the UK travel for site visits and inspections will vary from week to week. You'll need to live within a sensible commute to Nottingham as collaboration with the team is important but your location can be flexible across the project area.
