Andrew Childerley

Andrew is a search and selection specialist with 20 years of experience in Built Environment recruitment. His career has focused on Development, Surveying & Project Management across East Anglia and the Home Counties. Working as a recruitment partner and helping candidates find their dream careers. He is a fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (FIRP) and a leading specialist within the local Surveying and Property industry. Andrew started his career with a FTSE 250 global recruiter and co-founded Technical Moves in 2005.

Andrew has extensive market knowledge within the surveying and property sector. In addition to recruiting and advising on the full spectrum of built environment appointments including; Architecture, Development, Construction, Commercial, Property and Executive Appointments.

Working within a niche environment, Andrew has developed an extensive network and long-term relationships throughout East Anglia. Representing candidates and clients on an instruction basis with the majority being engaged exclusively. 

As a founding partner of Technical Moves, he is one of the driving forces behind Technical Moves ethos of being honest, adding value, and delivering what we promise. This is a testament to the fact that the majority of our instructions are repeat business from long-term relationships and recommendations.

Away from the office, Andrew can be found on the rugby field (when the wife’s not looking), at Twickenham, or with rod in hand trying to catch a fish.
