Technical Moves Director involved with STEM - CV Clinic and Mock Interviews
As part of his STEM Ambassador role, our Director, Carl Wright took part in a CV clinic and mock interview session this week with Year 12 students at UTC Cambridge (now known as the Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology).
As part of group of volunteers, he was helping Year 12 students at UTC Cambridge (Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology) prepare for interviews for work experience, internships, and future employment.
The first session involved a CV clinic offering advice on how to improve and make the most of current skills and experience. The second session involved mock interviewing students to develop presentation skills and interview technique, offering advice and ways to improve and be better prepared for future interviews.
“The students I interviewed were an impressive bunch, many already had a clear career goal in mind and a plan to achieve it, those that didn’t were looking to gain vital work experience. Hopefully my advice helped make in a little way – good luck for the future to all the students”
