Your New Role

Through this success they have steady expanded and now provide a full management and repair service to over 2500 properties across Cambridgeshire for both generic and sheltered housing.
As part of their decent homes programme they are now looking to carry out a sample of condition surveys across their housing stock. Data from these surveys will be used to help validate and confirm the general condition of housing stock and formulate planned maintenance schedules.

Appointments will be pre-booked and tenants will be advised of your attendance in advance to ensure you are able to achieve this goal.
To help, you'll be provided with mobile working software and a device to collect the survey data. You'll also be provided with existing scheme data as background to help validate previous data collection. You'll be representing the organisation and be on point to direct/refer tenant queries effectively to the relevant departments. You'll also deal with other team members who will be assisting in the collection and processing of data.
You'll need to have previous experience carrying out stock condition surveys on domestic dwellings and competent liaising with tenants. The surveys will be predominately within Cambridge but will cover Cambridgeshire, so you will need a full driving licence and your own vehicle.
The contract is expected to start around the 8th of January and run until the end of March 2018 with a potential extension. Payment will be on an hourly/daily rate basis (expected to be in the £17.50 - £25.00 region) with business travel and associated costs being fully reimbursed. Interviews will be taking place in Cambridge in the next 2 weeks.
