Independent and privately owned civil & structural consultancy with offices in East Anglia currently looking for a Senior Engineer to join their Suffolk design team, with view to fast track into a senior management position. Potential future equity share.

The current Directors want to appoint a Senior Engineer as part of a key succession plan for the business. You will act as the Directors first line of support both in terms of providing design lead on projects and taking responsibility for a small team.  Our client already boast a strong reputation locally, but this appointment is part of a long term plan for the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business as a Chartered, near Chartered  or Senior Engineer and quickly progress to a position with view to potential Director / share ownership.

As Senior Engineer / Associate Director you would retain responsibility for design, site visits and take on overseeing and running your own projects and clients for the business.  Designing in all major materials, you will have an ability to work on a range of building structures and  civil infrastructure schemes, particularly residential, industrial, historical and traditional building structures projects.

You will play a key part in helping deliver projects, future growth and profitability for the team, effectively acting as the first line of support to the Directors. Naturally you will have proven experience delivering in a design role with another consultancy and have reached a stage in your career where you are looking for 'something different' or responsibility to lead a small team where you can cover for the Directors as required.

Salaries will reflect your design experience and management potential but are expected to be in the region of £50K + profit share, + benefits.  More importantly you’ll be joining a progressive independent consultancy with a strong reputation in East Anglia, with potential share ownership and the chance to really be rewarded for your hard work.
