We are currently representing a well leading independent estate agent and property management company with offices in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk looking to recruit a Property Manager to join their small but successful team in Cambridge. Our client provides a comprehensive lettings and management service across a mixed portfolio, focusing predominately on properties within the town centre and surrounding villages.
You will be tasked with the management of a portfolio; liaising with Tenants and Landlords to ensure both carry out their agreed obligations, oversee income and expenditure on behalf of the Landlord, organise repairs by liaising with Tenant, Landlord and Contractors, ensure repairs are carried out correctly, answering calls promptly, understand the relevant legislation, carry out end of tenancy checks, arrange the prompt return of deposits, deal with disputes and complete any relevant paperwork, ensure the website is up to date and marketing is available, carry out home visits and report accordingly, liaise with Negotiators to ensure properties are let, adhere to all regulations and guidelines, prepare tenancy agreements and packs including gas safety certificates, EPC’s and inventories and ensure all other duties required by your Manager are completed within a timely manner.
If you are interested in this opportunity, you must have at least 2 years experience within residential lettings, have knowledge of the local market, and understand relevant legislation and tenancy laws. In addition, you must demonstrate; excellent customer service skills and a good track record working within a customer service environment.
In return you will receive a basic salary of £20,000 to £26,000 per annum plus bonus scheme.
