Under new management, this company is going places. They already boast a great reputation locally, but now have their sights on bigger things. Having secured further expertise in their team, they are taking this business to the next level and they want you to be a part of it. 

To do this they need your commercial skills and proven previous experience on building and roofing projects. You will be responsible for estimating and contract surveying for the business. As part of the commercial team, you will play a key part in helping deliver projects, future growth and profitability for the team. 

Typically, this will include: 

  • Commercial matters, cost value reconciliations and control measures
  • Preparation, review and pricing of tender submissions
  • Develop and assessing material, labour and equipment rates
  • Contractual obligations for traditional and design and build contracts
  • Stakeholder support and liaison to ensure project delivery 

Naturally you will have proven experience in a commercial role working as either a Building Estimator or Project Quantity Surveyor. It would also be an advantage if your experience was also in the residential sector within property maintenance or property development. 

Salaries will be commensurate with your level of experience but expected to be in the region of £36k - £45k.
