Junior Rural Planner
Looking for a career in Rural Planning? Not sure where to start?
As one of the South East’s leading Rural Planning Consultancies, my multi-disciplinary client is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Planner to join their busy Rural team in their North Norfolk office.
You will already have some basic knowledge of planning through either education such as a relevant diploma or degree, or through work experience within a Planning office; local authority or private sector.
As this is a junior position, you will be there to assist the current experienced Planners including the Partner for this branch, with carrying out daily duties and attending meetings with Clients and other team members. You will get involved in researching planning litigation and liaise with external organisations including the local councils. You will take on briefs from prospective clients and learn how to give solid advice on the local market and realistic prospects.
Learning everything from putting in and writing planning applications through to appeal management and agreements, you will be working with predominantly farming and agriculture clients to help them develop their dreams and their businesses. You will also have some interesting instructions including listed buildings and easement issues.
In return for your hard work, you will be given a competitive basic starting from around £18,000, with a clear path towards future career progression, and the opportunity to pursue further education if desired.
To apply for this position or to discuss further; please contact Steve Tomkinson from Technical Moves on the details provided.
