As the CDM Consultant, you’ll be embedded into the design team, managing health and safety in design and construction phases.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the Principal Contractor, attending project and design team meetings, review hazard registers and the controlling high-risk work.
As such, qualifications are essential. A construction design degree such as Architecture or Engineering would be ideal, however, applications are equally welcome from qualified Health & Safety professionals with construction consultancy experience.
