Technical Moves | Graduate Building Surveyor

Graduate Building Surveyor

Graduated in Building Surveying over the past couple of years? Do you take your profession seriously and are working towards being a Chartered Member of RICS?

The Company

Even the best Building Surveyors have to start somewhere, but where is the position that will look great on your CV; where you can look back after a fulfilling career and say “this is where it all began!”?

Our client is a national multi-disciplinary with a Building Surveying and Project Management specialism. Although not as large as the LSH’s or Atkins’ of the world, they do have twelve offices here in the UK, and a strong presence in the South Eastern Counties.

Job Description

As you will already have a degree or higher in Building Surveying, and at least 6+ months experience working for a similar consultancy, you will already have some good foundation knowledge of the core elements of professional building surveying, and ideally have already started your APC towards MRICS status. It doesn’t matter if you have more of a residential or commercial specialism, as this client deals with a good variety of work, and will build you up as a solid all-round Building Surveyor, competent in your field and able to continually develop, whilst specialising if you choose to.

Essential skills

With bags of ambition and enthusiasm, you will take pride in your work and be willing to call upon the vast in-house experience from Chartered Surveyors including RICS mentors, as they continue to mentor you towards your own Chartership.

In return

And as if this wasn’t good enough; they also offer a competitive remuneration package of around £23,000 - £28,000 (dependent on your level of experience) with clear scope for future promotions. For more information, please contact Steve Tomkinson from Technical Moves.
