Your New Role

We are pleased to be representing one of the region’s leading property consultancies with the recruitment of a GP Surveyor. With a strong and established client base, they are renowned for being an industry leader in managing corporate and complex properties on behalf of prestigious and affluent clientele. Due to significant growth within their portfolios, they are now looking to strengthen their management team with the acquisition of an experienced and knowledgeable professional. The successful candidate will be required to help clients maximise the value of their property assets and ensure issues are considered within a thought-out planning process. Therefore, our client would be interested in speaking with locally based professionals with a proven background within commercial property, looking to further their career with an award-winning management team.

The successful candidate will be working closely and on behalf of a wide range of clients within commercial and residential sectors. The role will include undertaking a range of duties focusing on valuations, property management and acquisition & disposal. The successful candidate will also be tasked with liaising with in-house teams from planning, building development, agency and energy efficiency. This will also include; preparation of reports and valuations, research and valuation analysis, inspecting properties, providing asset management and advising clients with acquisition & disposal.

Candidates wishing to apply for the position must have experience in valuations and general practice duties, the ability to work on own initiative, liaise with clients and have experience with ARGUS software. You will also be required to manage your own time effectively, build relationships with key clients, show competence and must have a full, valid driving licence. It is highly desirable that you are full member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, MRICS. However, candidates with a strong background within the industry will also be considered.

The company promotes a very strong team environment, so candidates should be looking to work within a small but successful team. In return they are looking at a basic salary of £30,000 - £45,000.
