Employers Agent / Project Surveyor - Healthcare

Your New Role
We are interested in recruiting an Employers Agent or Project Surveyor for a leading consultancy who are experiencing further growth to their Cambridgeshire team.
This opportunity is with a multidisciplinary lead consultant who provides a "one-stop shop" of services to wide range of high profile clients across multiple sectors including; New build residential, Social housing and Healthcare.
Due to continued success, they are now in the position to grow this specialist team and have a new opportunity for a career driven Employers Agent / Project Surveyor.
As part of the projects team, you will be working in conjunction with a team of commercial professionals acting on behalf of several key clients as either the Lead Consultant or Cost Consultant, providing support on contract administration (typically JCT) and Project Coordination/Management.
In addition, you will also provide support with a number of other tasks, such as;
- Involvement in the full tender process, from draft through to review and award
- Reviewing the progress of project works and preparing reports for the client
- Validating or certifying payments
- Considering claims
- Monitoring commissioning and inspections
- Arranging handover and certifying completion
- Dealing with defects and issuing certificates of making good
- Agreeing on final accounts.
You will be an MRICS PQS with a construction related degree, a cost management background and preferably some previous Employers Agent experience.
In addition, you should have at least 5 years experience with either a construction firm or consultancy. You should also be comfortable in a client facing capacity, commercially aware with the ability to work in a fast-moving and demanding environment.
Salary packages will depend on your previous level of experience but are expected to be in the region of £38,000 to £45,000 with appropriate benefits package for the level of expertise.
