Our client is an independent property investment business looking to appoint a Development Coordinator for their expanding Suffolk team. The company which has gone from strength to strength, growing 300% in size over the last 2 years alone, managing residential and commercial property investments with a projected value of £240m and is also involved in the promotion of land for over 12,000 dwellings.

Job Description

You will be qualified to a minimum of HNC level in a construction related discipline and ideally have between 3 - 5 years post qualification technical experience. Your experience could come from work with a consultant, house builder, developer or contractor. You will have a working knowledge of planning and technical matters related to all aspects of mixed-use development and have a good understanding of the whole process from land appraisal to sale.

You will be assisting with technical appraisals on sites for potential acquisition, reviewing any constraints and opportunities to development. This will include web-based research, geological and flood mapping, digital title boundaries, historical information.

You will assist with obtaining topographical surveys, underground service reports, asbestos, condition, site investigation, contamination assessments, structural, surveys, party walls, ecological and other enquiries including budget quotes and costs.

This is a varied role that will put your technical and planning skills to good use. You will prepare concept and site plans and display information using CAD. Attending project and design meetings as required, as well as proactively liaising with external parties, investors, local planning authorities, surveyors, environmental and design consultants.
