Your New Role

Chartered Building Surveyor required for perm role in Oxford - Commercial and Education work, including the prestigious University of Oxford and a mix of modern and Heritage buildings.

Due to a massive expansion of their Oxford office, which will soon rival their head office, this established professional consultancy with over a century trading is looking for people to join their multi-disciplinary departments, including their Building Surveying team.

Working closely with the Project Management Team and Commercial Agents, you will be responsible for overseeing professional works including (but not limited to) Dilapidations, Condition Surveys, Contract Admin, some small scale Project Management (up to £3m), planned maintenance plans for heritage buildings and the odd Party Walls etc.

You will be working in a small team of competent professionals who are well regarded in the industry. This is a very friendly and supportive company and your team will work closely with you, supporting where required and always happy to bounce ideas off of each other. The client base includes some of the best and most sort out in the industry, and no two days will be the same with a variety of work and types of property.

Salary and package is negotiable dependent on the person, but someone with a few years post-chartered experience can expect around £40,000 - £45,000 basic plus package.
