CAD Technician

Are you a CAD Technician with two or more years experience in the built environment? Are you someone that naturally just gets things done? Do you like to see projects from CAD right to construction?

Your New Role

We are representing a design and construction manufacturer that work on a range of building structures and civil engineering projects. They design, build and install a range of retaining walls and pre-cast concrete solutions for a mix of businesses across the region that ensures every day has a different challenge.

With an ever-increasing workload, they are now looking for a CAD Technician with two or more years building experience, someone that can produce construction details. You will need to be a safe pair of hands, a team player capable of producing CAD layouts and details for construction using AutoCAD. Projects vary and you will be working with a range of building contractors and engineering consultants.

Ideally you will have worked for another manufacturer, construction design department, civil and structural consultant or building design team. In addition to your CAD skills you need to have an interest in working on construction and building projects. If you like to work on projects from start to completion on site then this CAD role could be for you.

What you need:

Excellent communication skills, common sense and a background producing working details or construction drawings using AutoCAD are essential. If you have dealt with a product range, had a customer service focus or been responsible for contacting clients for design information that would equally be of interest.

In return

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician or Engineering Technician looking for the chance to grow with a well established company. In return you can expect a competitive salary to reflect your relevant project experience and CAD ability. Priority will be given to candidates based locally to their North Essex office.
