A diverse and expanding portfolio of clients has led to several new framework awards throughout the East of England - typically within the healthcare and educational sector. Due to this increase in workload, their regional office in Cambridge is expanding with a rare opportunity for a Building Surveyor.
Ideally, you will be either an experienced graduate part way through your APC or a Building Surveyor with proven experience providing Surveying work within either a Healthcare or Educational institutions.
This is a great opportunity to become part of an experienced team working in a fast-paced environment. The team is tasked with a variety of surveying and project work and you will gain exposure to some interesting and diverse accounts. As a Building Surveyor, you will provide a mixture of Surveys including; fire protection, fire risk, PPM, Repairs, Structural Surveys and Schedules of Condition. You should, therefore, be experienced writing specifications, producing schedules and reporting property dilapidation's.
To be successful in this role; it is essential that you have at least 24 months solid surveying experience within either a private surveying firm, or multidisciplinary consultancy, be educated with a relevant degree, and working towards your MRICS qualification. Alternatively, you would have a proven background carrying out Surveying in non-residential related industries.
This is a career role with a market leader. You will need to be highly motivated and committed to succeed. Salary packages will depend on experience but are expected to start in the region of £35k to £40k with appropriate bonus and benefits package expected of an industry-leading business.
