Building Surveyor (Contract to Perm)

Client facing role working alongside a team of leading construction professionals on interesting projects and away from an office environment?

Your New Role

Let us introduce you to a client side opportunity. An organisation with a large mixed portfolio of over 200 properties and a broad mixture of Commercial, office, Residential heritage and public buildings.

They have a seasoned team which is expanding and they need an experienced Building Surveyor for their growing team.

Looking after a large regional portfolio, you will travel to the required sites across Cambridgeshire to conduct inspections on a wide range of maintenance and construction projects.

You will carry out detailed Surveys, maintenance inspections, monitor construction and improvement works, provide comprehensive reports and snagging inspections within agreed timescales.

This will be within a multi-sector client base where you will work alongside & support a number of internal and external construction and design teams. You will also regularly engage with consultants, tenants and contractors so you'll need to be fully comfortable communicating with a broad range of people.

You will be joining a seasoned team of professionals focussed on quality and service delivery. You should, therefore, be able to demonstrate strong client skills and technical knowledge.

As an experienced Surveyor, you will ideally hold a professional membership to the RICS and have experience in core on-site inspection work. You should be comfortable working independently and being out of the office for 80% of your working week.

Salary packages will be commensurate with your level of experience but are expected to start at £35,000 - £40,000 plus travel allowance and benefits package. Basic salaries will rise accordingly based on qualifications and experience. For the right candidate, there is a strong chance that this contract will become a Permanent arrangement.
