Are you a Clerk of Works with major new build project experience on schemes of £30m plus? Are you a motivated and effective Supervisor, looking for the security of a permanent salaried position?

Your New Role

We are looking for a Clerk of Works, with new build project experience, to take accountability for our Cambridgeshire based clients projects. You’ll need to be at your best as you will be representing an international consultant covering key accounts and projects across North London, Herts and the M11 corridor. 

Working as an integral part of a construction project team, you’ll be responsible for a range of projects including new build steel framed structures, reinforced concrete schemes, cladding and refurbishment projects.

This role requires good technical understanding to monitor the quality and compliance of the constructed works against the accepted design, dealing with structural specifications and compliance. The Supervisor will also require good communication and reporting skills and is expected to support the Contractor’s engagement with stakeholders. 

Key skills: 

  • To ensure success - you will have a minimum of 10 years relevant construction management / supervision experience on projects of £30m or above.
  • You will be a qualified Clerk of Works, B&CE Supervisor, or NEC Supervisor with a building structures, rather than civil highway or pure M&E project background.
  • Previous NEC project experience would an advantage 

Our client is looking to make a long-term appointment and find a Clerk of Works that wants the security of a permanent position. Salary in the range of £38,000 - £40,000 with paid travel expenses.
