  • Managing all aspects of the project including the project finances
  • Leading the urban design/masterplan project and research into relevant technical urban design and planning issues
  • Developing existing client relationships and generating new work

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a UK-based company, currently operating as Associate or Senior Urban Designer
  • Demonstrable ability to undertake the above responsibilities
  • Strong design experience
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills with an ability to undertake presentations to a range of audiences
  • Experience in consultation including community participation
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent with a postgraduate qualification in Urban Design (highly desired)
  • Software proficiency (desired, training provided); PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Vectorworks, SketchUp, AutoCAD

The successful applicant will be joining a leading UK consultancy, gaining ownership over a department whilst working on sought-after projects, with career progression readily available. A competitive salary alongside a profitable benefits package (including a car allowance) will be provided.
