With major expansion plans and an excellent client base, this company is looking for potentially two Acquisition Surveyors to join them. Training can be provided!

 

The Company:

A leading UK consultancy for Telecommunications, Topographical Surveys, Renewables and Design and Build for major international media, telephonic and utility companies across the UK, based out of their Cambridge and London offices. This company specialises in the acquisition, surveying, feasibility and the design and build of buildings, land, masts and wind farms for leading clients and have experienced significant growth, winning large contracts and making them a leading specialist consultancy.

 

The Role:

As they continue to grow as a company, they have a requirement for good people to join their Acquisition Team at this exciting time. You will ideally have a background in property, estates or property law, have gained at least 6+ months in a similar role and be enthusiastic to proceed in a career as a professional Acquisitions Surveyor. For this particular role, a background in property or land acquisition is preferred, and additional support and training can be provided. There are also options to further progress your career, including additional qualifications and professional memberships.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Good GCSE grades in Maths and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office
  • Negotiation skills
  • Be a team player
  • Willing to learn new skills and undergo training courses
  • Focused on a career in Acquisitions Surveying
  • Due to the nature of the role, must have a full UK driving license.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • A Degree in Property, Estates Management, Property Law or similar
  • At least 6+ months experience in a similar role
  • Loyal career history (minimal job hopping)
  • Knowledge of the telecommunication, property or utilities industry
  • Local area knowledge of Cambridge (and potentially London)
  • Willing to progress towards a leadership role as you establish yourself.

 

In Return:

My client is looking to pay the right person between £18,000 to £32,000 dependent on the level of experience (if you are a trainee or already experienced). You will also be offered training and support with a clear career structure in place and room for advancement, a car allowance, bonus and other benefits.
