Salary Guides 2018

 

2018 continues to see a shortage of qualified professionals with salaries across most built environment professionals seeing a significant wage increases above UK inflation. Our Surveying and Property team report that Cambridge is now competing with salaries previously seen only closer to London for key real estate roles.

Commercial property is still performing well, in particular within industrial and logistics. With an increase in demand driven by the lack of supply and the growth of new developments helping to boost the market. Brexit continues to fuel some uncertainty, but things have stabilised well in the areas within the Golden Triangle which continues to enjoy strong growth throughout.

This years survey covers the widest range of positions to date with an improved Housing Development, Commercial Property, CDM, Planning salaries in addition to all our core sectors where we have strong coverage in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Surveying and Property.
